Scalable eCommerce Website with delivery & collection slots

Hartley Farm
Hartley Farm is a diversified farm in the village of Winsley, on the Wiltshire-Somerset border. The 125-acres of land have been farmed by the Bowles family over five generations. The farm produces organic vegetables and salads and is home to a native-breed suckler beef herd producing grass-fed beef for the farm shop.

The production of the farm has changed through the generations, like many other farms across Britain, with a focus now on pursuing regenerative methods. In essence, this was the traditional way of farming, forged over thousands of years, before the dawn of science and technology and guided by the natural world and the seasons. Regenerative agriculture inspires their approach to farming and food production and is Hartley Farm’s guiding principle and direction of travel.

The brief

To create a beautiful website that appears on search results with a focus on design.

Our approach

This was a highly technical brief and one that is constantly evolving due to the growth of the company and the systems they had in place. We developed a website that had full scalability to accommodate Hartley Farm’s growth.

We introduced an organic feel to the design of the website with hand-drawn images that could be incorporated not only into the packaging but across the brand as a whole.
